I am well capitalized to acquire a business with $4–20 million in annual sales, using my personal capital and bank financing. I do not have outside equity investors.
There is no fund, investment committee, or outside shareholder whose timeline I need to satisfy. I can work directly with the owner on a thoughtful transition and make decisions for the company's long-term health. This is not a passive investment or part of a portfolio; it will be my full-time work.
